MAX KLAUSNER
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family outside of Washington D.C. Enveloped in a growing makeup business that was later sold I learned how to turn ideas into marketable products and the ferocious work ethic required to start and grow a small business. Creativity was a seminal virtue and I became very involved with photography, art, design, and magic. This passion led me to NYU where I learned to make films and worked for an academy award nominated director.
After graduating from NYU, I worked on building a new company with my family. Leading the web efforts I assembled a team and oversaw the creation of a customer-centric website that would enable all sales and marketing to move online. The successful launch and marketing campaign established the new venture as a brand leader in its space and overall sales increased dramatically.
While filming a documentary in Morocco I was offered the opportunity to run Monster.coms new social network for small business owners. I have since helped launch a number of growing communities and currently manage 4 sites with over 750,000 members and 2 million page views a month.
Overall, I am passionate about innovation and ideas and love to build things. I have developed a unique blend of creativity and business acumen and focus these skills on ambitious projects.
